NetBackup SAN Client光纤连接

通常SAN Switch连接设计为:

  • FT Media Server启用Target 模式的端口连接到SAN Switch(假设1口)
  • Client端口连接到SAN Switch(假设2口)
  • 1口和2口创建一个Zone。
  • 在配置完成后,在JavaConsole中看不到设备,FT Media Server日志中可以看到:

    Client日志里可看到如下信息:

    vxlogview -o 200 -d all

    在交换机查看端口状态:

    sr-m-san-nbu02:FID128:admin> portstatsshow 8
    er_enc_in               26412           Encoding errors inside of frames

    明显可以看到有错误的生成。默认情况下SAN Switch端口速率为N8(自适应),解决办法是将更改连接**FT Media Server Target**的端口为指定速率,4gb是一个推荐值。

            portindex_range: Specifies the range of port index <portindex1-portindex2> (example: 12-14)
            Speed_Level:     0  -  Auto Negotiate (Hardware)
                             1  -  1Gbps
                             2  -  2Gbps
                             4  -  4Gbps
                             8  -  8Gbps
                            10  - 10Gbps
                            16  - 16Gbps
                            ax  - Auto Negotiate (Hardware) + retries
                            s   - Auto Negotiate (Software)
    sr-m-san-nbu02:FID128:admin> portcfgspeed -i 8-16 -f 4

    更改后查看端口状态不再有错误增长即为正常,如果Client和FT Media Server连接到了不同的SAN Switch,SAN Switch之间的级连端口也要固定速率。

    更改完成后可通过portcfgshow查看配置:

    SAN Switch端口默认启用Trunk,在没有License的情况下并不生效,所以可以忽略,Client连接到SAN Switch的端口启用了NPIV可能会对配置造成影响,这里不做讨论。

    如果更改速率后错误仍旧产生,可通过portdisable和portenable禁用启用下端口。
